Established in 1959, Pettex is a still a family run business having started from humble beginnings working out of a small lock-up garage serving pet shops in the local vicinity. Over the years Pettex has grown to become a leading and well-respected company within the UK pet trade. Serving the Pet, Garden Centre, Vetinerary and Hardware wholesalers together with Grocery cash & carry's and large multiple retailers allowing Pettex to have good national distribution for its products.
Pettex is based in Hainault, Essex where most of the manufacturing and warehousing is done together with strong partnerships that have been formed with other UK companies for the supply of it's products. Also in recent years with the increasing global market Pettex has found itself now bringing into the UK more raw materials and products than ever before and are now working on a regular basis with companies in 9 countries. The current team, which has 4 second generation members is dedicated to the welfare of the animals they provide for and producing quality products for their owners. This combined with an excellent level of service for their customers whether it is for Pettex own brands or any of the many private labels that they produce for their customers.

Steve has been involved with the company for 27 years. As joint managing director with Keith his main area of responsibility is for sales and new product development.

Keith has been with the company for 25 years. In these years he has built up a wealth of knowledge in production techniques and transport logistics, in which he takes overall responsibility.

Stuart has been our sales manager for 10 years now. Involved in all aspects of sales and marketing within the company, dedicated to keeping our customers informed and happy.

SUE O`BRIEN - SALES LEDGER
Sue handles the sales ledger, helping our customers keep track of their account. She has been with the company for 18 years now and is often the friendly voice on the phone our customers hear.

Tina is involved in the purchase ledger for all our supplier purchases, in the 10 years she has been here Tina ensures the smooth flow of raw materials into our production facilities and handles their prompt payment.
